Van Life In Big Sur, California
After spending some time in Colorado and Portland for the first couple weeks of van life, we quickly realized that it was cold. So, we made plans with our good friend David Sherry to hang out in Big Sur so that we could head back down south, where we will be spending the majority of our winter.
Big Sur has this vibe to it, a cool magical forest beachy vibe. Everyone there was kind, all of the coffee shops, book stores, and restaurants were laid back and relaxed and it seemed like everyone was there to just simply chill out. There were tons of photographers at all of the view points, but it was like a camaraderie because we were all making art together. It was nice to get away from the busyness of every day life and to spend some time on these coastal cliffs.
We enjoyed Big Sur so much, it made van life feel glamorous. Like all of those beautiful amazing photos you see on instagram that make you dream of the lifestyle. it definitely gave us that excitement we craved making all of our efforts over the last six months feel completely worth it. We're going to go into detail about our first month on the road tomorrow because we definitely have a lot to say about it!
