How We’ve Created Our Ideal Weekly Schedule For Our Design Business
VIP Design Days have changed our lives!
It’s made our personal lives more expansive - we can take off more time from work and take more days off during the week!
Sometimes we work every day, but sometimes we take the entire week off or only work 1-2 days. This is our ultimate freedom because we have more time - which to me is more valuable than money.
With VIP Design Days - we now have more time in our business too! We can launch courses, programs, and website templates much more easily because we are not bogged down by too many client projects or a team to manage.
In this blog post, I am going to give you a breakdown of how our weekly schedule looks when we only do one VIP design day per week! AKA we only work with clients one day out of the entire week and four days out of the entire month.

Our weekly design business schedule:
Monday:
Content Creation Day & Weekly Plan
At Dynamo Ultima, we usually take Mondays off or do light work if we're feeling up to it. Content creation for Instagram or writing the weekly newsletter also happens on this day. We believe in starting the week on a relaxed note to ensure we are energized for the tasks ahead.
Tuesday:
Internal Biz Action Day
Tuesday is dedicated to making updates to our business, creating courses, launching content, and tackling whatever is on our current to-do list. It's a day filled with innovation and strategic planning, ensuring our business stays up to date and continues to grow.
Wednesday:
Calls Day, Podcast recording day, communication day
Wednesday is usually a day for kick-off calls with our VIPs. We try to limit our calls to a maximum of two per day. It's also a great day for communication, so you'll often find us posting podcasts or stories on social media.
Thursday:
VIP Design Day
We try to always book VIP days on Thursdays but will move to be flexible if we need. This day is dedicated to clients only! We believe in providing exclusive attention to our VIP clients, ensuring their projects get the focus and dedication they deserve.
Friday:
Light Work
Fridays are for light work. We work for 1 hour and then close our laptops. Sometimes we work on the weekend if we are feeling inspired but usually, we don’t. It's our way of easing into the weekend and maintaining a work-life balance.
